Sondra Robbins 2008/2009 Chapter President
In August 2008 when the 2008/09 Phoenix Chapter Board met for the board retreat, a motto was chosen, "Today We Talk the Talk and Tomorrow We Walk the Walk". At the retreat, we "Talked the Talk" by setting our goals and aspirations for the upcoming year. The enthusiasm and excitement from that day of planning has allowed this board to "Walk the Walk" through-out this entire year.

What an exciting and eventful journey this year has been. I am truly honored to have been allowed to serve as the President of this chapter and to have had the privilege to serve with such an outstanding board. To the membership of this chapter, I would also like to thank you for your support and trust through-out this exciting year. I am finding it hard to believe that I only have one more membership meeting and one more board meeting to oversee. Boy, how the time has flown! As someone once said, "events happen, but memories of these events last a life time."

I would like to thank Stephany Lane and Macayo's for hosting our August business meeting. As always, the food and service was outstanding. Thanks to all the board members for reporting their chapter business. I know business meetings are not always the most fun meetings, but they are a necessary part of the business the chapter needs to share with the membership. Thanks to everyone for your support and attention during this meeting.

Congratulations to the new 2009/2010 Board of Directors! The new board was voted on and approved unanimously by the Phoenix Chapter at the August business meeting. I know Kerry Feltenberg and her board will do an outstanding job as they lead this chapter forward into the next year. The new board will be installed in October at the Arizona Grand Resort.

This month's firm night will take place at InNexus Biotechnology, Inc. I would encourage you to invite your executives and guests. This is going to be a very exciting and interesting evening. Janet Anderson has been preparing for this meeting over the last few months and her executive, Jeff Morhet will be the guest speaker. There will be tours of the lab and Jeff will explain what takes place at their facility. Please mark this on your calendar and plan on attending an outstanding firm night.

Finally, there will be seven of us attending the Annual Meeting in Louisville, KY. We are excited to be attending and representing the Phoenix Chapter. We will share this adventure with all of you upon our return.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you September 15th at InNexus Biotechnology, Inc.
