What about the information that Dr. Donese Worden brought to the table? If you missed last months meeting you missed one of the best meetings of the year. Dr. Worden provided us with an abundance of information regarding taking control of your health and what tools you need in order to accomplish this goal. She had all the facts and studies needed to guide you in the right direction. Dr. Worden kept us all taking notes so we could go home and plan what we need to do in order to get out health in check. I know that I have already visited Sprouts and Whole Foods to purchase some of the things that she had suggested. I hope everyone has put our July meeting on their calendar. Remember this meeting is on a different day than our normal meetings. Be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday July 25 at 9:30 AM at the Arizona Grand Resort. Our special speaker will be the renowned Lori Giovannoni. Lori will be speaking from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and lunch will follow. We are very excited that there will be guests from the Tucson Chapter, San Diego Chapter and the Corporate Board. There was a special invitation went out to the Executives of our firms, the Past Presidents, Sustaining members and Life members of our chapter with all the information regarding this meeting. I would encourage you to talk to your Executive regarding the value this meeting would bring other employees within your firm.

Please be sure to RSVP for the July meeting as soon as possible along with sending in your check for the meeting. Also remember the cost for this meeting is $40 for representatives, member firms, sustaining member and life members. It is $50 for anyone that is not a member of EWI. As you might expect the sign in table will be very busy so we might make a few changes in order to accommodate everyone. You help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to congratulate the people that are on the proposed slate of officers. Thank you for stepping up and I know this is a wonderful and exciting time for all of you.

Please help me in welcoming our newest members and their firms. Kris Erickson with Lovitt & Touche, Inc. and Ellyn Ventura with Cruise One. If you have not introduced yourself to them, please look for them and extend a warm welcome to them. They are both wonderful women and will add to our group with their talent and enthusiasm along with their outstanding firms. Welcome Kris and Ellyn.

August is our business meeting for the Chapter. Please make every effort to attend so you can be a part of the discussion making for this Chapter. We will be covering the Chapter standing rules, voting on the future leaders of our Chapter, and Bylaw changes that have been proposed by Corporate and the delegates and alternates for the Annual Meeting in Louisville this September. We will also have our own Marlene Everding present a review of the Orientation to our Chapter. Each person attending will receive a copy of the Orientation Book which will be a wonderful way to refresh our memories on EWI. Please mark your calendar now for August 18th at Macayo’s in Tempe for this very important meeting.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone for our exciting meeting on the July 25th at the Arizona Grand Resort. This meeting is going to be outstanding please make every effort to attend.
