It's hard to believe its October already! First, I would like to thank the chapter for sending me to LCAM in Kansas City. I had a wonderful time and my head is still spinning from all that I learned. We started our week in Presidents Caucus; I was teamed up with Presidents and V.P.s from Tucson, Albuquerque, San Diego, Pomona Valley, Long Beach, Los Angeles and Honolulu. We had a board Member, Nancy Harrison Chattanooga, that led us through the 2 days. We learned a lot and we all will be in touch with each other throughout the year to help and encourage each other. Nancy has challenged us in many ways. One was to grow our Chapter; with your help our goal is to reach 51 members by August 2011. I know it will be tough but I am sure we can do it. One of my goals is to take 3 delegates to next year's LCAM! If the small town chapters can do it, the country's 4th largest city should be able to as well. Our own Kerry Feltenberg is now a member of the corporate board in a new position "Chapter Development Director". I am looking forward to hearing all about this new position and all the great work that she will be doing over the next year. Congratulations Kerry! We are so proud of you.
