| The Phoenix Chapter of EWI would like to welcome its newest members:
Angel Denton joined EWI in October 2009 as a representative of Phoenix Inner City Kids (PICK). PICK focuses on mentoring and prevention programs for at risk and disadvantaged children and is a 501C3 non-profit organization. Ms. Denton has volunteered to chair the Sergeant-At-Arms committee for our 2010-2011 term. Julie Cardinale joined EWI in October 2009 as a replacement representative for Midwestern University, where she is the Assistant Human Resource Director. Ms. Cardinale helps to produce the monthly EWI Connect newsletter; in her spare time she enjoys Tennis, Pickle Ball, Hiking, Swimming, and Golf. Karny Stephan joined EWI in March 2010, representing Phoenix Children's Hospital, a world class pediatric healthcare facility. Ms Stephan is involved in fund raising and raising awareness for kidney transplantation. She speaks fluent German and her hobbies include adopting old dogs, movies, opera, volunteer work, Kakuro puzzles and reading the latest vampire-immortals-science fiction books so that she can keep up with her nieces and nephews. Barbara Kendrick-Opre joined EWI in July 2010, representing Wolz Florist. Wolz Florist is located in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Melinda Striyle joined EWI in August 2010, representing 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital. 43rd Avenue Animal Hospital is located in Glendale, AZ. We are so excited to welcome these new members to EWI and to know that they will be sharing their multitude of talents with our organization.
