Southwest Gas Corporation is a natural gas distribution company that began as a liquid petroleum gas company in Barstow, California. Now celebrating its 75th anniversary, the company provides natural gas service to more than 1.7 million customers in Arizona, Nevada, and California. It has been one of the fastest-growing natural gas utilities in the country for more than ten consecutive years.

Building on a long history in Arizona, the company expanded service to Phoenix, Yuma, and dozens of smaller communities when it acquired the Arizona Public Service gas properties in 1984. Today, more than half of the company's customers are in Arizona.
